This Week in the PSC

This Week in the PSC (02.19.20): Three ways every PSC member can join the fight for CUNY

Feb 28, 2020

Tell Albany to Stop Starving CUNY

Send a letter to your legislators.

The NYS budget will be finalized in six weeks. The PSC is pushing legislators to make CUNY a top priority in this year’s budget. Key legislators are responding, but we need to keep the pressure on. Send this letter to your legislators ASAP. The letter calls for increased funding for the senior and community colleges, closure of the TAP Gap and a fully funded tuition freeze. It also supports increased taxes on the ultra-rich.

GET on the Bus to Albany

The PSC is part of a massive Student/Faculty/Staff Higher Education Action Day on Thurs., Feb 27. Attendees will leave for Albany early the morning of February 27th on buses departing from each of the boroughs. After a day of lobbying, the buses will depart Albany at 3:30 PM. Register here.
