Stand together to rally outside CUNY Central (205 E. 42nd St.) the morning of Monday, February 27 for a Fair Contract for a People’s CUNY that supports better working, teaching, and learning conditions, and a better life for PSC members, CUNY students, and the communities that we serve. Urge CUNY to Come to the Bargaining Table
More than 1,500 of our PSC colleagues have signed the petition demanding that CUNY management begin bargaining. Add your name here and urge colleagues to add theirs. The PSC-CUNY contract expires in 13 days! The PSC Bargaining Team is prepared to meet immediately and frequently with management representatives to move the bargaining forward. Get on the Bus and Rally Inside the NYS Capitol
PSC members will rally alongside UUP and NYSUT higher education members in the NYS Capitol on the Million Dollar Staircase on Thursday, March 9th at 12:00 noon. The Senate and Assembly one-house budget resolutions that set the table for the final state budget negotiations will be in formation as we rally. We need you there at this critical moment in the campaign for increased CUNY funding and the New Deal for CUNY.
This is a roundtrip to and from Albany on buses departing from the PSC office at 25 Broadway and from a location in Harlem at 7:00 AM and returning the same evening. Tell us you’ll be there! We’ll contact you about your bus location and other day-of logistics.

Sign Up to Lobby in Albany with CUNY Students
The PSC is working in coalition with the CUNY University Student Senate, NYPIRG, NYSUT, UUP and the SUNY Student Assembly to organize a state-wide Student, Faculty Staff Higher Education Action Day in Albany on Tuesday, February 28. This is a chance to join CUNY students in lobby meetings with legislators and their staff. Together, we’ll be calling for dramatic increases in State investments in CUNY and SUNY, updated facilities, no tuition hikes, and better financial aid.
This is a roundtrip to Albany with CUNY students on buses departing at 6AM from various NYC locations. The buses will return to the city by 6PM. Lunch will be provided. Send NYSUT’s New Deal for Higher Education Letter to Legislators
NYSUT, the PSC’s statewide union affiliate, has taken up our New Deal campaign, and generalized it to both CUNY and SUNY. They are calling for $4.7 billion in new investment for both university systems. This is another sign that our campaign has power and another opportunity to show Albany that there is broad support for fully funded public higher education. Please send the new Deal for Higher Education letter to legislators right now. And urge your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same!
