“We are so proud of PSC’s longtime ally and endorsed CUNY champion Brad Lander for his landslide victory in last night’s primary election, and congratulate our full slate of candidates for their wins up and down the ballot. Brad has stood up for PSC members and public higher education since his earliest days as a council member, and we look forward to the November elections and his determined leadership in Washington, DC. We are glad he will be joined by other bold leaders who will fight for our members, students, and community.
Last night’s results show that New Yorkers are done with a status quo where oligarchs get rich while our public institutions are starved for resources. Together, we will build this new era into one where our neighbors are safe and supported and where CUNY is fully resourced, fully staffed, and tuition free.”
