These salary schedules reflect the 2023-2027 contract, which was recently ratified by PSC-CUNY members. The dates on which our increased rates, and back pay, will appear in paychecks are still being determined. We believe the payments will be made as soon as practicable in Spring 2025 and will inform members as soon as dates are known, with as much advance notice as possible. The timing is affected by CUNY’s payroll processing and by processing at the City (for Community Colleges) and State (for Senior Colleges) Comptroller’s offices. Full-time faculty and research series
The last two steps on the salary schedules for employees in the titles Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Lecturer Doctoral Schedule, Higher Education Officer, Higher Education Associate, Higher Education Assistant, and Assistant to Higher Education Officer, in the Registrar title series, and in the CLT title series designated in the schedule by bold print. The penultimate step is known as the “five-year step.” Employees in these title shall be eligible to receive the “five-year step” not later than upon completion of five years of service at the preceding step, known as the “last one year step.” Following the “five-year step” is the “seven-year step,” also designated in the salary schedules by bold print. Employees in these titles shall be eligible to receive the “seven-year step” not later than upon completion of two years of service at the five year step.
