May Day had new urgency in NYC this year

More than 100 PSC members gathered with thousands of activists and trade unionists for a May 1 demonstration in Foley Square, denouncing the Trump regime. Demonstrators marched from the square to the Charging Bull statue downtown.

On March 15, 2025 a massive crowd of New Yorkers from across the labor movement and allies gathered at Foley Square for a march to demand the current administration to stop the federal cuts as right-wing politicians in Washington are moving forward with devastating proposals to cut two trillion dollars from Medicaid, Medicare, housing and food assistance and other vital programs to fund a massive tax giveaway to the wealthy and corporations.
