NYC Labor Day Rally and March

This year, the rally and march will be on Tuesday, September 8, instead of the Saturday after Labor Day. There is a different location and march route this year as well.

Schedule

  • 4:30 PM – Assembly & Music
      • Our contingent will meet up at the 140 Broadway Plaza across the street from Zuccotti Park, by the Red Cube sculpture (https://maps.app.goo.gl/UgRmFErqBxjgc3FAA).
  • 5:00 PM – Rally
  • 6:00 PM – March
    • The rally will begin on Liberty Street between Church Street and Broadway, with the march proceeding north on Church Street before turning onto Worth Street. The march will continue on Worth Street, across Broadway, concluding with dispersal in Thomas Paine Park.

On March 15, 2025 a massive crowd of New Yorkers from across the labor movement and allies gathered at Foley Square for a march to demand the current administration to stop the federal cuts as right-wing politicians in Washington are moving forward with devastating proposals to cut two trillion dollars from Medicaid, Medicare, housing and food assistance and other vital programs to fund a massive tax giveaway to the wealthy and corporations.
