The HEO Steering Committee at the Graduate Center has organized an event in support of our immigrant community. The Graduate Center chapter is co-sponsoring this event. Please join us next Wednesday, November 5 at 11:30am in room 6204.01 of the Graduate Center for a Know Your Rights (KYR) presentation. It will be geared toward staff but is open to all PSC Graduate Center members and will include general information for the larger community.
We will also be working on KYR kit assembly—we’ll be putting together kits for GC distribution and need your help! All materials provided by the HEO steering committee, but your hands and joyful spirit are required for their assembly.
We’ll also provide an update on planning for the next contract negotiation so we can begin strategizing for bargaining.
