A Brief History of May Day
May Day will be our union’s next major public mobilization. The radical legacy of May 1 as a worker’s holiday – and as an occasion for workers’ action – has never been so urgent. In the coming weeks, we will train and plan together with fellow labor movement progressives to make sure that May Day deals a tangible blow to Trump’s authoritarian scheming.
At 4:30pm on May Day, we’ll gather at Washington Square Park by the Garibaldi Statue for a rally and march, stepping off at 5:30pm and ending at Foley Square. Fill out the form below to pledge to join us for the march, and to otherwise organize with us for May Day! And help spread the word with this flyer.
