The Teachers Retirement System office at 55 Water Street is still closed, due to continuing effects of Superstorm Sandy. In the meantime, TRS has set up a temporary walk-in center at 65 Court Street in Brooklyn and is still accepting appointments from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, except on official New York City holidays.
