When the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Executive Council took a vote to give a boost to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, many members took exception.

Peter Hogness, Clarion's longtime editor retired this summer. Hogness highlights some of his favorite stories and moments while editing 116 issues of the award-winning union paper.

The state's failure to fund mandatory increases at senior colleges led to a $51 million budget shortfall at CUNY's senior colleges. As a result, there's a three percent budget cut at all senior colleges.

The Supreme Court will hear a case in its upcoming term that will possibly deal a devastating blow to public sector unions, including the PSC.

CUNY's Microsoft email has a security block for mass mailings that has held up some of our emails. A few thousand members have already voted, and we will all have the chance to vote. AAA believes they have a workaround, and they will again send out the message to all eligible members who have not yet voted.
