The New Deal for CUNY is an ambitious piece of legislation supported by the PSC and other advocates that would fully fund CUNY, bring back tuition-free education and hire more faculty and staff. The bill already has support in both houses of the New York State Legislature.
According to a union release, an ad in support of the higher education bill ran on broadcast and digital media in New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Albany, and featured “a recent rally in support of the New Deal for CUNY.”
