Civil Disobedience Training for a Just Contract

The PSC bargaining team has decided to intensify our challenge to CUNY management. Developments at the bargaining table could change our assessment. But members who are able to risk arrest for a contract that shows faculty and staff the respect we deserve need to be prepared–now!
Come to the October 9th in-person training if you are ready and able to participate in an imminent escalation of the campaign. The PSC has undertaken similar actions effectively in the past, and experienced members and staff will help us prepare and answer questions. Click here to make a commitment to be there.
“C-U-N-Y Don’t let CUNY die!” was the chant March 24, 2016 as 41 CUNY supporters locked arms and lay down blocking the doors and sidewalk outside Governor Cuomo’s Midtown office building. The “die in,” held as State budget negotiations reached their final stage, helped PSC members, who had worked six years without a raise, win a fair contract with back pay.
