Press conference in Albany, Tuesday, March 15
The Labor-Religion Coalition of New York State is asking religious and faith leaders to sign on to a letter calling on Governor Hochul, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to increase funding for CUNY and SUNY by more than $250 million each. So far, more than 100 faith leaders have signed on!
A squad of PSC members will travel to Albany Tuesday, March 15 to participate in a press conference led by the faith leaders to release the letter. While we’re there, we’ll meet with state legislators about our budget demands and the New Deal for CUNY. Travel will be reimbursed by the PSC. Let us know you’ll be there.
