Six hundred faculty and staff members from all campuses gathered on Wall Street to demand CUNY Board of Trustees Chair William Thompson do right by CUNY's faculty and staff -- to ensure that the CUNY Board of Trustees makes a fair economic offer to the PSC without delay.


In an essay adapted from her Sept. 27 rally speech in the heart of the financial district, PSC President Barbara Bowen addressed the importance of adequately funding CUNY for its students and for the faculty and staff who make CUNY work.

The PSC responds to a CUNY contract demand on the teaching load as the union prepares new actions to push collective bargaining forward.
