In The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks, Jeanne Theoharis has written the first scholarly biography of this iconic figure in US history. Theoharis, professor of political science at Brooklyn College, talks about Parks' life and the work behind the book.

The pressure to implement the Pathways general education framework by Fall 2013 is harming the quality of course proposals, according to a department chair who served on a Pathways course review committee. See also:
