Elizabeth Henderson farmed at Peacework Farm in Wayne County, New York, for over 30 years. She co-chairs the Policy Committee of the Northeast Organic Farming Association, and represents the NOFA Interstate Council on the Board of the Agricultural Justice Project. She is the lead author of Sharing the Harvest: A Citizen’s Guide to Community Supported Agriculture (Chelsea Green, 2007). https://thepryingmantis.wordpress.com/
Maria Luisa Mendonça, PhD in Geography from University of São Paulo and research scholar at Center for Place, Culture and Politics, CUNY Graduate Center. She is co-director of Rede Social de Justiça e Direitos Humanos (Network for Social Justice and Human Rights – www.social.org.br). Her research includes history and political economy of agriculture, food, land and water systems, and geopolitical processes of resistance by rural social movements in Brazil and internationally. She is the author of Economia Política do Agronegócio / Political Economy of Agribusiness (Annablume, Sāo Paulo, 2018).
Tristan Quinn-Thibodeau is a National Campaigner at ActionAid USA focusing on biofuels, land rights, and food sovereignty. He works with grassroots organizations and allies through national networks and coalitions to build support for land, food, energy, and climate policies that work for communities and families.
