From a November 16, 2022 Workshop:
The Public Employee Safety and Health Bureau (PESH) enforces OSHA safety and health standards in all public sector workplaces in New York State. Through PESH, employees at CUNY campuses can report possible violations of safety and health standards and schedule a visit from a PESH investigator. In this video, Patricia Geisel (NYSUT’s Workplace Health and Safety Specialist) and Ellen Lynch (Executive Vice President of the United College Employees of the Fashion Institute of Technology) explain what PESH does, the power of the investigation process, and how to file a PESH complaint.
