CUNY Research Foundation Field Units employees represented by the PSC are still fighting for a fair contract. After the last contract action in March, management’s bargaining team has finally made some movement at the table, but they’re still falling short of agreeing to our most important demands, including fair raises, pay minimums, and longevity increases. So we are sending members of the RF Board of Directors care packages (with copies of a petition, letters from legislators, and PayDay bars) to send them a (creative) message that they need to tell their team it’s time to settle a fair contract. One of those Board members is LaGuardia President Kenneth Adams, so we will be delivering his care package (and our message) to him in person on Tuesday, May 20, at 1pm. Our meet-up location will be the Atrium in the E-Building at LaGuardia Community College, from where we will be heading to Adams’ office.
