Over 200 PSC members mobilized at CUNY’s Lehman College on Sunday, March 28th along with thousands of fellow New Yorkers and labor and community leaders to tell Governor Hochul and the state legislature to stand up to Trump and tax the rich! PSC President James Davis gave a rousing address to kick off the rally, and the speaker program also included NYSNA President Nancy Hagans, speakers from 1199 SEIU and UAW Region 9A, in addition to Senator Bernie Sanders.
The energy at the event was incredible, as thousands of people mobilized in the closing days of the state budget negotiation cycle to tell leaders in Albany that the time is NOW for economic justice.
