Support Columbia Workers
At press time, graduate student workers and other unionized workers at the university were continuing their strike at Columbia University. The university administration has threatened to permanently replace workers who do not immediately return to work (see “The news in brief”). PSC members are in solidarity with UAW strikers on the picket line as they fight for living wages, expanded medical coverage, childcare benefits and protections against sexual harassment. In the spirit of the season, please consider donating to the union’s strike fund.
