The New York Health Act. Tired of fighting off Medicare Advantage? Going broke from co-pays? Fearful of the cost of long-term care? The New York Health Act might be the answer. The New York Health Act is a universal healthcare bill in New York State that would guarantee high quality, comprehensive healthcare for all New Yorkers. It would expand health coverage to include dental, vision, hearing, mental health and long-term care, while eliminating premiums, deductibles, co-pays and prescription drug costs. How? By eliminating the billions of healthcare dollars wasted on: health insurance profits and executive salaries, the health insurance bureaucracy created just to deny care, and the hours medical providers spend fighting for the care their patients need. (This doesn’t even count the hours we spend on the phone fighting bad billing).

Hear from the father of the NYHA, retired State Assemblymember Richard Gottfried; the Retirees Chapter’s own Len Rodberg; and PSC Vice President Jen Gaboury on what the New York Health Act can do for you and what the PSC is doing to get us there. Learn more about the NYHA in advance from the Campaign for New York Health.
