Friends of CUNY & Salute Our Scholars Fundraiser
December 10, 6PM, John Jay College
Proceeds from ticket sales will help provide financial aid to CUNY students who demonstrate a commitment to social change and academic excellence. Individual tickets for PSC members are $125. The Fund was established by the PSC in 1979 and honors the PSC’s founding president, Belle Zeller, Professor Emerita of Political Science at Brooklyn College, where she taught for more than 40 years.
Sharon Persinger, a current member of the union’s Executive Council and former PSC treasurer, will be among the honorees at the event, along with State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and State Senator Robert Jackson. Learn more and buy tickets here.

CUNY's Microsoft email has a security block for mass mailings that has held up some of our emails. A few thousand members have already voted, and we will all have the chance to vote. AAA believes they have a workaround, and they will again send out the message to all eligible members who have not yet voted. The emails will begin to go out in batches tonight, Monday, December 23rd. It may take a while to land in your inbox, (spam, or junk mail.)
