NYC Labor Turns Out for WGA East Members on Strike

Striking Writers Guild of America East members and supporters this week made their voices heard at pickets at Steiner Studios, Silvercup Studios, Broadway Stages, the HBO/Amazon offices in Hudson Yards, and in shutting down on-location shoots around the metro area.  The writers are standing strong and the NYC labor movement has their back! Spotted supporting WGA East members this week: members from SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, IATSE, AFM Local 802, Stage Directors & Choreographers Society, Laborers Local 79, PSC-CUNY, UAW, Teamsters Local 817, Starbucks Workers United, the Amazon Labor Union, and more.
