107th Triangle Fire Anniversary Commemoration

Event Date:
Friday, March 23, 2018 - 11:30am

On March 25, 1911, 146 workers perished in a fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory.

146 lives were lost that day, but the workers – many of them young, immigrant women—did not die in vain, as the tragedy laid the groundwork for many of the labor laws and regulations that help protect workers today.

Join us at the site of this tragedy at Washington Place & Greene Street on Friday, March 23, at 11:30AM to remember the lives that were lost, and to recommit to the fight for worker safety and justice.
