We sincerely hope you have all been able to come through Hurricane Sandy unscathed. The PSC office is open as of Monday, November 5, but it has no phone or internet service. As a result, the Monday evening phone bank is cancelled, but volunteers are encouraged to make calls from home via the AFL-CIO's online system.
If you click here (or the hot links below), you will find two sets of instructions on how you can participate from Kate Pfordresher, who is coordinating the Get Out the Vote (GOTV) operation for the PSC:
1. Making calls from home through the AFL-CIO's on-line program.
2. Other ways you can participate including phone banking at the UAW, phone banking using the Obama site and/or poll watching on election day (as coordinated by the NYC Central Labor Council).
